All buyback and exchange requests are subject to verification of the jewellery and the terms set out below.

1. Diamond Buyback & Exchange

The buyback value applies only to the invoiced value attributable to eligible diamonds and does not include any other charges forming part of the original purchase price.

The buyback value applies only to the invoiced value attributable to eligible polki diamonds and does not include any other charges forming part of the original purchase price.

Eligible polki diamonds purchased from Izora will receive 100% of the polki diamond value stated on the original Izora invoice when exchanged towards the purchase of new jewellery from Izora.

The exchange benefit applies only to the invoiced value attributable to eligible polki diamonds and does not include any other charges forming part of the original purchase price.

3. Gold & Silver Value

Gold and silver contained in eligible Izora jewellery will be valued at 100% of their prevailing market value on the date of evaluation, based on:

  • the verified purity of the respective metal;

  • the verified net weight of each metal contained in the jewellery; and

  • the applicable prevailing metal rate used by Izora on the date of evaluation.

Where an Izora jewellery piece contains more than one metal, including both gold and silver, each metal will be valued separately according to its verified purity and net weight.

4. Making Charges, Gemstones & Other Deductions

Making charges are not refundable and do not form part of the buyback or exchange value. The value attributable to coloured gemstones, semi-precious stones, pearls, enamel, non-diamond stones or other decorative materials will also not ordinarily form part of the buyback or exchange value unless expressly stated otherwise by Izora.

Applicable taxes and other charges paid at the time of original purchase are not included while calculating the buyback or exchange value.

5. Eligibility & Verification

To avail the Buyback & Exchange Policy, customers may be required to provide the original Izora invoice and/or Certificate of Authenticity associated with the jewellery.

Before accepting any jewellery for buyback or exchange, Izora reserves the right to inspect and verify, amongst other things:

  • authenticity;

  • diamond specifications;

  • metal purity & composition;

  • net metal weight;

  • stone weight;

  • product identification; and

  • the physical condition of the jewellery.

The final buyback or exchange value will be calculated only after completion of this verification.

6. Alterations, Repairs & Third-Party Work

The Buyback & Exchange Policy shall cease to apply where the jewellery has been altered, modified, repaired or otherwise worked upon by any person or establishment not expressly authorised by Izora.

This includes, without limitation:

  • resizing;

  • soldering;

  • alteration of the design;

  • replacement or removal of diamonds or stones;

  • addition or removal of metal;

  • modification of clasps, chains or other components; or

  • any repair or structural modification performed outside Izora.

Any such external intervention may affect the authenticity, weight, composition or integrity of the jewellery and shall therefore render the applicable Izora buyback and exchange benefit null and void.

7. Metal Composition Disclosure

Certain Izora jewellery designs may be manufactured using more than one precious metal, including combinations of gold and silver.

Where applicable, the respective metal composition, purity and/or weight shall be disclosed on the relevant invoice, Certificate of Authenticity, product description or other documentation issued by Izora.

A jewellery article containing both gold and silver, or any other combination of metals, must not be represented as being made entirely or exclusively of gold unless expressly described and certified as such by Izora.

Customers are advised to retain the original Izora invoice and Certificate of Authenticity as the authoritative record of the jewellery's specifications and composition.

10. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Izora India, its owners, affiliates, employees and authorised representatives against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising from:
